Goat Registration:
Our entire herd is registered in the name of Kinner Farms with the Myotonic Goat Registry. All kids
born on our farm will be registered with MGR at the time of sale (registration included in goat purchase
price). A MGR Registration Certificate will accompany each goat purchased. You will also receive a
Transfer Application to transfer ownership into your name. Kinner Farms will remain as the breeder. A
$6.00 fee payable to MGR is necessary to complete the transfer. MGR membership of $24.00 is also
required to transfer ownership into your name. If you are planning on registering any goat from Kinner
Farms with any other registeries, we expect the goats name to remain the same, and that to use the
lineage on the pedigree, Kinner Farms must remain as the breeder of the said goat. This helps keep
the lineage and history of the goat, which is a useful tool to many breeders.
Sales Terms and Conditions:
Prices for kids born on Kinner Farms are $125.00 for Bucklings and $200 for Doelings. These prices
may vary from year to year depending on goat hair and eye color. As stated above, purchase price
includes MGR registration. Deposits are accepted to reserve kids until weaning date. All deposits
received will be placed towards goat purchase price. If a Buckling is purchased for a pet, and the
purchaser desires them to be wethered, the cost of this process is also included in purchase price.
However, arrangements must be made with Kinner Farms at least 3 weeks prior to pick-up date. Any
goat leaving the State of Illinois is required to have a Scrapies Tag. The cost of this tag is also
included in purchase price. No goat purchased by an out of state buyer will be allowed to leave Kinner
Farms without the Scrapies Tag. No exceptions will be made to this policy!
Prices for all other goats for sale will be determined when the decision is made by Kinner Farms to
offer them for sale. All policies above pertaining to kids born on our farm apply to all other goats
offered for sale.
Payment in full for all goats must be received before any will be allowed to leave Kinner Farms.
If a deposit is received to reserve kids until their scheduled weaning date, pick-up must be scheduled
within 2 weeks after the weaning date. If pick-up is not scheduled and or pick-up not completed at the
said time, the deposit placed will then become non-refundable and the goat can and will be available
for sale to any other interested party.
Health Guarantee:
Our entire herd is vaccinated, dewormed, and hoof trimmed several times throughout the year. All kids
born on our farm are vaccinated at birth. Vaccination records can be provided, if requested.
All goats purchased from us are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. If any goat
purchased from us develops health issues within 90 days from date of sale and a refund is requested
by purchaser, the following will apply: A Health Inspection by our veterinarian is required, with the cost
of this payable by the purchaser. A refund will be given only if our veterinarian determines the health
issues were genetic or contracted while the goat was on our farm. Health issues determined to be
related to improper care by the purchaser or determined to be contracted by other animals on
purchasers farm, will not deem a refund.
