Kinner Kennels is excited to announce that construction of our new
kennel facility has begun! It has been a very long and slow process, but
are pleased to say that our new facility will begin its operations in the
early part of 2011.
Unfortunately, over the past few years, we have not been able to
accommodate everyone's boarding needs. Our current facility has not
been large enough due to the overwhelming amount of referrals from
current clients and calls we have received! With that being said, there is
a fine line of becoming too large of a facility as well.
Drew and I have put a lot of time, thought, and consideration into the
planning of our new facility. It will feature 36 boarding kennels, each 4'x6'
(inside) with a 4'x12' (outside run), with the outside portion covered.
There will also be an indoor doggie lounge where the dogs can play when
the weather is not cooperating. The outdoor play area will be comparable
in size to the one at our current facility. We will have a reception area for
check-in and drop-off, and also a bathing and grooming area.
The boarding routine will not change, nor what's included in the boarding
fee. Toys, treats, bedding, outdoor playtime and lots of love will still be
included. While we have never increased our boarding fee since opening,
we will be implementing a new boarding fee schedule and several new
and exciting options, as outlined below.

Additional dog(s), same kennel: $10 per day
Additional dog(s), separate kennel(s): $15 per day
Grooming/Bathing
Nail trim: $7 per dog
Baths: $ determined by dog size
Doggie Pampering
Indoor Doggie Lounge: $2 per trip, per dog
**Let your dog romp and play indoors, even when the weather
outside is cooperating! They will be treated to lounging in a
doggie couch while watching Hotel For Dogs on the DVD
player! Play toys will be in abundance for them to share with
other dogs who are enjoying the lounge as well!
Yappy Hour: $2 per time, per dog
**Treat your dog to gourmet treats including a cold, delicious
Frosty Paw snack!
"Top Dog Club"
We are also excited to announce our new membership program, the
"Top Dog Club" which is open to current boarding clients only. You
do not need to be a member to continue boarding with us; this will
simply provide our current clients with the opportunity to purchase
additional features that will be offered at our new kennel. The
membership fee applies per family, not per dog. If you decide not to
purchase your dog(s) a "Top Dog Club" membership, you will still be
able to purchase the individual options as described above during
each boarding stay. Both the platinum and diamond levels are limited
to the first 15 clients, per level. The Top Dog Club membership option
will be valid for five years, after which we will offer a new membership
drive. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the
membership options.
